Keller used a combination of deep dynamic compaction and wick drains to densify and consolidate the soil at this site in California. The site is ready for construction of a large warehouse facility.
GEO installed a consolidation monitoring system and relayed all measurements to a secure Quickview website.
This AMTS monitored settlement plates that were distributed across the site. Piezometers, tiltmeters, and vibration monitors were also deployed.
Quickview used data from settlement plates, shown as yellow diamonds, to generate a settlement contour plots: red shows the least settlement, blue shows the most. The same view also showed current readings for piezometers, tiltmeters, and vibration monitors.
