Lid-Link Antenna

The Lid-Link® is a flush-mount, traffic-rated antenna designed to transmit RF signals from data loggers and sensors that are installed below grade. PDF Datasheet

Applications

Lid-Links are deployed in city streets and sidewalks, airport taxiways, container ship piers, and other locations where wireless telemetry is required but conventional antennas are impractical due to traffic, vandalism, or accidental damage.

Features

  • Strong ductile iron castings that exceed AASHTO HS-20 loading standards and fully protect the antenna
  • Non-skid surface for pedestrian and vehicle safety.
  • Available for spread-spectrum radios and cell modems.

Conventional antennas were impractical at this airport project. Lid-Link antennas were the solution.
Lid-Links at Intersection
The two Lid-Links in this intersection are transmitting measurements to the GeoCloud server via a cellular connection.
