Data Loggers / Cables

CR800 / CR1000

Instrumentation systems for geotechnical and structural monitoring often entail monitoring large numbers of sensors of different types with dataloggers often being installed in remote, inaccessible and hostile locations. These loggers, built around the Campbell Scientific CR800 and CR1000 modules and can be used with monitoring software such as I-Site and Argus giving a complete solution for remote monitoring of projects independent of the users location. Typical applications include monitoring dams, bridges, steel or concrete structures, tunnels, mines, railway tracks, embankments, slopes, pile testing, flood control etc.

2 / 4 Channel Vibrating Wire Datalogger

The 2/4 Channel VW Logger is a general purpose datalogger configured for vibrating wire sensors. Ideal for up to four VW sensors. Typical applications include monitoring dams, bridges, steel or concrete structures, tunnels, mines, railway tracks, embankments, slopes, pile testing, flood control etc.

Lid-Link and Power-Lid Flush Mount Antennas

Lid-Link is a traffic rated, flush inspection cover with an integral RF antenna. The Power-Lid option adds a solar panel array to provide a trickle charge input for battery maintenance. Lid-Link is intended for use with remote telemetry systems where a real time connection to data is needed, but physical access to the remote asset is impossible, or impractical, due to vehicle traffic, vandalism, or availability of power.

CSI Based Datalogger

The multi channel logger is a general purpose datalogger configured for geo-technical sensors. It's simple use is where users connect sensors and power up the logger, where the logger is preprogrammed by Geo-Instruments to suit the application. It supports manual connections for data upload to a laptop or a PDA. It supports remote wireless IP, RF, Satellite, and or POTS telemetry if required. It's compatible with ARGUS web based remote reporting system and packaged in a NEMA4X enclosure, with a flush mounted Lid Link, or in a custom enclosure to meet specific job requirements. It is also available for deployment in wireless networks and can be powered by solar power, line voltage, alkaline battery packs or rechargeable gel cells.

Cables

Geo-Instruments offers a specialized line of cables used to provide safe, reliable connections for our instrumentation. It is essential that adequate consideration is given to the cables connecting our sensors to there readout locations, particularly when they are to be buried in the ground or exposed where they could be accidentally damaged.

Incremented Geo Inclinometer Control Cable

GEO Incremented Inclinometer Control cable is used to place, index and transfer electrical signals to and from traversing uniaxial and biaxial probe inclinometer systems. Designed and constructed to work with all commercially available servo inclinometer probe designs, our cable has a heavy polyurethane outer jacket, clear, labeled depth indicator nubs, six screened conductors, with water blocking, torsion and abrasion protection safeguards around a center core stainless steel strain relief cable.
